On Monday 9 October a group of six year 7 students took part in a public speaking workshop at Linklaters global law firm. We practised our public speaking skills by creating and presenting our own speeches on the topic of what we hope to achieve. We received advice on how to soothe our nerves, how to not fidget, and how to project our voices. The workshops were attended by students from the City family of schools, making it a fun way to get to know others. Overall, it was a great experience!
