A group of year 12s, along with pupils from our partner schools, visited the law firm, Linklaters, for a careers and interview skills day. We had the opportunity to speak to lawyers, education coordinators and solicitor apprentices to learn about the various pathways into a legal career. We then attended an interview workshop; we learnt how to highlight our skills and answer questions effectively and then put what he had been taught to the test via a mock interview with a Linklaters employee. We also gained a real insight into what life at a top law firm could look like.
