Our latest Life After City talk took place yesterday, bringing back the beloved Career Ladder game, where students had just two minutes to guess the jobs of four mystery City alumnae, including a consultant naval architect, a midwife at St Thomas’, a senior engineer, and a fashion‑buyer‑turned‑charity‑director‑and‑food‑writer. Our year 11s and sixth formers came impressively close, but the careers were simply too diverse to crack! After the talks, which were full of laughter and awe at the array of careers our students go on to pursue, our alumnae were invited to a delicious lunch, where students had the chance to pick their brains for career advice.
