Panel of speakers at the 'Life after City' talk

This term, the City Futures department launched a fresh format to their speaker series, Life After City. In the run-up to next week's Modern Foreign Languages week, on Wednesday morning our first Life after City talk focused on languages and their relevance in various careers after education. The session provided valuable insights into how language skills can be applied across diverse professional fields. The panel included two alumnae, Florence Butterfield and Isabelle Tett, along with Ms Barclay, our foreign languages director in residence, who shared their experiences on how learning languages shaped their careers. Year 12 City Futures Committee members led the discussion, offering students an inspiring look at the career opportunities languages can unlock in the professional world.
