On Monday we hosted the inaugural Kerridge lecture, named after alumna Dr Phyllis Kerridge, a very accomplished scientist whose contributions played a large role in the creation of the first NHS hearing aid and more. We were lucky to hear an inspiring talk from Professor Anna Randi - Head of Vascular Sciences at the National Heart and Lung Institute - who illuminated the importance of having women at the forefront of medical research, leaving us excited about the future of academia. We plan to host the next lecture in January and hope to see you there!
