Kerridge lecture

On Tuesday, we were very lucky to welcome Dr Hsien-Yung Huang to give the second Kerridge lecture. Dr Huang is a lecturer at the University of Sussex, working on the development of exoskeletons which are able to interact with the user’s body. He discussed the different types of exoskeletons that are currently in development and the benefits of developing these machines to aid patients with limited mobility. The importance of cross-curricular links was a particular highlight, as his work explored the ways in which biology, computer science, engineering and physics interact. We plan to host the next lecture in March, and hope to see you there!
