Bestselling children's book author, Katherine Woodfine, talked to year 7 and year 8 about her fascinating career path.
Her first novel, The Mystery of the Clockwork Sparrow, was published in 2015 and nominated for the Carnegie Medal book awards. It features Sophie, an intrepid detective in the setting of a department store like Selfridges, the very inspiration for the Sinclair Mysteries. Katherine kindly answered some excellent questions from the pupils and signed everyone’s copy of her book.
