We are thrilled to announce that our alum Leo Simpe-Asante has been named the Jerwood New Playwright 2026, marking an extraordinary professional debut. Leo’s original play, Godot’s To-Do List - winner of the 2025 Royal Court Young Playwrights Award - has been selected for the Royal Court Theatre’s landmark 70th anniversary season, and tickets for the play can be booked here. Described as ‘a short comedy about the absurd chaos of modern existence,’ Godot’s To-Do List will open each performance ahead of Krapp’s Last Tape, starring Gary Oldman.
