The Shorinjiryu Renshinkan Great Britain Karate-do Grading
The City of London School for Girls karate dojo had their debut grading at the ShorinjiryuRenshinkan Great Britain Karate-do Grading on Saturday 15 January. All the girls passed with flying colours and the feedback from the examiners was very encouraging. Tom Abbosh Sensei, their instructor, is immensely proud of their achievement and really optimistic about their future karate careers.
Year 12 mathematicians had a great trip to the maths in action conference last week. Topics covered included Fermat's last theorem and transforming mobius strips, how MRI scanners function & how numbers determine which musical notes sound good together.
