Year 10 attendee Allegra recalled that "Ann gave a captivating talk on her incredible career in this rarely spoken about area of the industry. The talk was particularly inspirational owing to the fact that she had to overcome adversity in her life and adapt to a different career in the industry that she loves."
Year 12 mathematicians had a great trip to the maths in action conference last week. Topics covered included Fermat's last theorem and transforming mobius strips, how MRI scanners function & how numbers determine which musical notes sound good together.
