Industrial Cadet Gold Programme

We are thrilled that our students have recently been involved in the Engineering Development Trust's Industrial Cadet Gold Programme. This prestigious initiative is designed to inspire the next generation of engineers, scientists, and technologists and you can read more about it via this link. Inviting our students to be future-ready, it offers a hands-on, real-world learning experience, encouraging students to apply their academic knowledge to solve real-life industry challenges. Across eight months, students collaborate in teams to complete STEM-based projects under the mentorship of industry professionals. Working with Arcadis, CLSG, CLS and City Academy students have been tasked with solving specific problems that the company is facing in their current projects, before they develop and present their own solutions. They have the opportunity to visit the company's offices and construction sites, along with two days at UCL further enhancing their industry understanding.
