Imperial War Museum

Students at Imperial War Museum

Our year 9 history classes recently visited the Imperial War Museum, which brought our history lessons to life with a powerful deep dive into life during the First World War. Immersing ourselves in trench accounts, newspaper reports and revolutionary weaponry, we explored how the conflict shaped soldiers at the front and families at home across Europe and beyond, learning about the Western and Eastern fronts, as well as the global role of empires and colonies.
