Last week, year 7 students showcased their independent learning projects to their parents and families. Students used skills from their sessions on research, planning and presentation styles to explore some fascinating subtopics and create brilliant displays! Congratulations to the overall winning group for their incredible project on veganism. They examined the health benefits, morals, religion, economics, environmental impact, social media and the beauty industry surrounding veganism. Well done to them!
Year 12 mathematicians had a great trip to the maths in action conference last week. Topics covered included Fermat's last theorem and transforming mobius strips, how MRI scanners function & how numbers determine which musical notes sound good together.
