iGem success in Paris

iGem

Last week, nine members of the City of London iGEM team were fortunate enough to travel to Paris for the 2023 Grand Jamboree! After a year of hard work from 30 pupils across CLSG and CLS, we were eager to showcase our project: Genoswitch, a diagnostic tool for common conditions affecting women's health. Throughout, we participated in a judging session, delivered a presentation, showcased our work during booth sessions, and even managed to achieve a silver medal! We also listened to talks delivered by experts in synthetic biology, and met students from all over the world, forming new connections and learning about fellow iGEM projects that have the potential to transform some of the world's biggest problems. Many thanks to the Friends for their generous support, as the trip would not have been possible without them. You can read more about our project here.
