We are delighted to share that our joint iGEM team with CLS has been awarded a gold medal at this year’s Grand Jamboree in Paris, an incredible achievement that celebrates their collaborative innovation and scientific creativity on a global stage. Using synthetic biology to solve real-world problems, the team chose to tackle Cryptosporidiosis, a disease caused by parasites, producing a cost-effective diagnostic kit that allows for fast and accurate detection, alongside earlier treatment.
