This week, students across years 7 to 10 have been competing in a House fencing competition. The first semi-final was a tense affair with Fleet and Ward swapping the lead before Fleet eventually triumphed by 20 hits to 14. Semi final two was far more one-sided. St. Bride were not helped by some absenteeism among their fencers and lost 3-20.
In the final, Tudor established an early lead and never looked back. Amber tried to close the gap for Fleet but ultimately fell just short as Tudor took the title 20-16. Congratulations to Paula, Allegra, Honey and Sylvie of Tudor, who are our House fencing champions!
