House drama!

Students on stage performing house drama

To round off a brilliant first half term, the whole school filed into the main hall for this year's annual house drama competition. Each house was tasked with putting together a performance under 15 minutes that included a quote by Mahatma Gandhi with the theme of ‘freedom’. All four pieces were entertaining and unique, so tensions were high as the guest adjudicator read out the prizes. Ward won best writing with their witty script, and Tudor won best design with their creative use of cardboard props and projected images. However, a huge congratulations must go to St Bride who won overall best production and to Marie who won best actress. Well done to everyone who was involved in putting together the incredible afternoon.
