House Drama 2021

Group photo of CLSG students at house drama

For this year's annual House Drama competition, we were back on stage, back with a live audience! And what a celebration of our resilience, resourcefulness and creative talent it was. Each house was tasked with producing a short piece of theatre on the theme of 'Time', a fitting tribute to the hours the coordinators, actors and tech teams have put into creating their pieces over the past half term.

The standard was incredibly high and guest adjudicator actor, writer and director, Zoë Tapper was suitably impressed. Now, 'time' for the results...

There was a notable performance from year 9 Zoe who won the best actor category (see you at the Oscars!). Ward and Fleet deservedly tied first place for their brilliant script, best design went to St Bride and best overall production went to... drumroll please... Tudor who took first place in this year's competition. Congratulations to all participants for triumphing under challenging circumstances and showing us the power that theatre has to unite and uplift us.
