HerAI workshop

Our year 8s participated in a thought-provoking workshop with Dr Amy Gaeta of the Leverhulme Centre for the Future of Intelligence at the University of Cambridge.  Part of our HerAI initiative, the workshop encouraged our pupils to compare human and AI generated poetry, and ended with them collectively re-writing the AI poem.  It was a wonderful reclamation and affirmation of what it means to be human!   In the second half of the session, year 8  went on to consider the ethics of AI and some of the gender bias inherent in many AI models.
