This exchange was an incredibly enjoyable two weeks. I ended visiting in places I never thought I'd see, such as hiking in the Algonquin Highlands, falling off a kayak into Oxtongue Lake on thanksgiving, up the top of the CN tower and driving past Drake’s house! One of my favourite parts was meeting new friends in our host school in Canada, as well as seeing what my exchange partner’s day to day was like at their school. There wasn’t a dull moment, and I would highly recommend the exchange programme. The only negative I can think of is how much you miss seeing your exchange partner and friends every day when you come back. It was a wonderful chance to learn so much more about myself when I was immersed in a completely different life across the Atlantic for half a month. Exchange helped my confidence and helped me understand my values as a global citizen.
