Hats for Haadia

Hats for Haadia day

On Friday 25 March City students and staff donned their most exciting headgear for Wear a Hat Day, to fundraise for Brain Tumour Research. The day raised £315.54 in total. Although more children and adults under the age of 40 die from brain tumours than any other cancer, historically just one per cent of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease. Having lost a student, Haadia, to brain cancer last year, City was proud to support this campaign for a cause very close to our hearts.
