This season of the Hans Woyda Mathematics Competition started with a win against Westminster City! Our first team combined seasoned 2023 plate-winners Harriet (year 13) and Lara (year 11) with new team members, Nabiza (year 12) and Sienna (year 9). Despite Westminster City pulling ahead with a score of 33-36 going into the final round, the nail-biting race round saw incredibly efficient problem-solving from all our team members, with many questions solved in under 20 seconds. In the end, our team won the match with a score of 45-38. A fantastic win to start the season! Watch this space as we take on CLS in our next match…
