Our year 12 history class spent a sunny day at Hampton Court Palace. We explored the grand apartments of Wolsey and Henry VIII, admired original tapestries and paintings (including the famous Field of the Cloth of Gold), and walked through the impressive Great Hall. A guided tour deepened our understanding of the mid-Tudor crisis through tracing the experiences of Edward VI and Mary I, before we rounded off the day by tackling the palace maze!
