Granada getaway

CLSG students in Granada for a Spanish trip

During half term, year 10 Spanish students had the opportunity to visit Granada. We stayed with host families and immersed ourselves in Spanish culture. Our hosts introduced us to different Spanish cuisines, such as tortilla de patatas, and took us to various places in the city. Despite the rain, the trip was packed with activities such as visiting Alhambra, watching a flamenco show and trying delicious paella. We also had the chance to learn about the life of Frederico García Lorca and how influential his plays and poems were. We were also able to try churros with chocolate and had the opportunity to speak to locals and improve our Spanish. It was a truly enriching experience!
