In the absence of exams this year, some year 11 students volunteered to test themselves against the gold standard of the Intermediate Physics Challenge. Open to all year 11 students, it is indeed a challenge so congratulations to all those who took part! A special mention goes to Elizabeth, who scored the top mark in the school. We opened our newly-built asymptomatic testing centre in the New Hall on Friday 5 May. The site's first customers were year 13 students, who entered to perform a self-swab, guided by our friendly group of trained alumnae, equipped and ready to assist students through the process.

On Wednesday 10 March, year 10 were presented with five career pathways to choose from, as part of their City Girls in the (virtual) City careers event.

Year 12 mathematicians had a great trip to the maths in action conference last week. Topics covered included Fermat's last theorem and transforming mobius strips, how MRI scanners function & how numbers determine which musical notes sound good together.
