Our year 7s stepped straight into Shakespeare’s world with a visit to the Globe Theatre. Not only did each class enjoy a behind‑the‑scenes tour, but they also stumbled upon an unexpected treat: a dress rehearsal of Romeo and Juliet. The excitement continued with a dynamic workshop on The Tempest, led by a Globe actor who showed our students how to experiment with performance choices in order to bring Shakespeare’s language to life on stage.
