Year 10-13 German students enjoyed a careers day at the Goethe-Institut. It began with talks from staff at the Goethe-Institut, hearing about why they chose to continue learning German. We even heard from a City alumna about all the career opportunities that learning the language opens up to you! We ended the day by watching a moving film called Kaddisch für einen Freund in the Institute's cinema, which followed the life of a young boy who grew up in a Palestinian camp in Lebanon and befriended a Russian, Jewish war veteran in Berlin.
