Matilda, Dora and I (year 11), as well as Kirsty (year 12), took part in the semi-finals at the Goethe Institute German Debating Competition. After already making it through the first two rounds, we managed to win this debate and are now through to the national finals! This has really improved our language fluency and skills in public speaking, even allowing us to discuss topical issues such as climate change, voting rights, and influencers!
