Garden of Remembrance Ceremony

City's head girl and CLS' headboy at Garden of Remembrance Ceremony

Mrs Brown and our head girl, Joanna, represented City at the annual Garden of Remembrance Service at St Paul’s Cathedral. Alongside Mr Bird and the head boy from CLS, they took part in the poignant planting ceremony, placing wooden tokens of remembrance in the garden to honour those who have served. Organised by the Livery Committee of the City of London, the service brought together the Lord Mayor, Sheriffs, senior representatives of the Royal British Legion, the Armed Forces, and Masters of the City’s Livery Companies. Led by the Dean of St Paul’s, and with music sung by our joint Camerata choir, this ceremony was a poignant reminder of the enduring importance of remembrance, uniting us all in reflection.
