On Saturday 22 June, City opened its gates for a fun-filled 130th birthday celebration. This was a lovely way to welcome young families from our partner primary schools, as well as residents of the Barbican and surrounding areas to come together and celebrate our school's birthday. Particular highlights included a puppet show in the MOAT from Little Angel Theatre, which had our young visitors enthralled, and music from Mark the Steel Pan Player tinkling out from lower grass. Our students also had a wonderful time, entertaining our young guests with parachute games, hook-a-duck, egg and spoon races, nail painting, glitter tattoos, name the bear and much more; there was something for everyone to enjoy!
