A huge well done to all our year 13 students on their impressive EPQ presentations earlier this week. Despite the topics ranging immensely - from Lana's research on exercise and the elderly, Clotilde's discussion of Wren-inspired fashion, and Maya's study of Chinese migration to London - they share a common factor: each presentation carried impeccable delivery and a stellar level of research. They have all demonstrated immense dedication to their independent learning, allowing them to be able to impart what they learned to their audience in exceptionally creative and engaging ways.
Year 12 mathematicians had a great trip to the maths in action conference last week. Topics covered included Fermat's last theorem and transforming mobius strips, how MRI scanners function & how numbers determine which musical notes sound good together.
