Three members of the EDT Industrial Cadets visited the Small Dean viaduct near Wendover to see part of the HS2 line being built, taking inspiration for our own bridge design. During the day we spoke with our engineer mentor, as well as the structural and design engineers of the site, giving us valuable insight into large-scale engineering in action and deepening our understanding of real-world challenges.
