Eastbourne trip

CLSG students on a geography trip in Eastbourne

City's year 11 students arrived at school bright and early to complete a geography field trip to Eastbourne. When we arrived, the weather was overcast; it looked as though it would rain, with dark looming clouds. Thankfully, however, it stayed dry and enabled us to spend time on the beach measuring the changes in slope as well as throwing oranges into the sea to decide which way the longshore drift went. After this, we headed into Eastbourne to complete some questionnaires to aid our research, before indulging in a lovely lunch and returning to school.
