Debating success!

Debating finals

Last week six year 11 and 12 students went to St Paul's Girls' School for the regional round of the Oxford Schools' Debating Competition.

There were two debates on whether the commercialisation of social movements does more harm than good and whether university entrance should be decided by a single exam or a system of continuous assessment. All three teams performed very strongly, with particular congratulations to Meghan, Inji, Eliza and Reya who progress to the national finals in Oxford.
