The City debating team had the wonderful opportunity to participate in an inter-school debating competition at South Hampstead High School. We engaged in a wide range of thought-provoking motions, from whether parole should be banned, to whether a world without envy would be preferable, exploring diverse themes including community, justice, self-sacrifice and human nature. Our year 9 team came first in the junior stream, closely followed by our year 8 teams!
