Our debating teams took part in various competitions. On Saturday, a group of six students went to Imperial College to participate in their annual schools debating competition. We were given four motions, all of which were both challenging and interesting. On Sunday, ten students from years 9 and 10 took part in a competition at LSE. We debated various topics, including the Korean entertainment industry, as well as uncontacted indigenous groups. This was a great opportunity for all of us to develop our debating skills, gain valuable feedback, as well as to meet fellow debaters from other schools.
