A group of our debaters from years 9 and 10 represented City at the prestigious Durham Schools debating competition, discussing topics including development economics, judicial activism, environmental movements and more. Out of a field of nearly 150 competitors from across England and Scotland, Charlie (year 10) and Noa (year 9) ranked as the best novice team at the event, and 20th best overall, a truly fantastic achievement against so many more experienced teams.
