On Thursday, we held our first student-led Culture Day. To highlight the immense diversity we have here at City, pupils and teachers dressed in cultural clothing and we ran a food stall selling food from around the world, from Jollof rice to Norwegian waffles!
This raised money for first responders and recovery efforts in Turkey and Syria, following the earthquakes earlier this week. Additionally, we held a fashion and talent show. Students represented their country by ‘strutting the runway’ and showcased their brilliant talents, such as Classical Indian dancing and an Afropop performance. We hope this will become a yearly staple in the City calendar!
