On Wednesday, we had the pleasure to welcome our esteemed alumna, Kate Ward, to speak to us at this year’s Colton Memorial Lecture.
She spoke about her time at City, which included the tragic death of her twin sister, and her incredible career in television. Her career highlights included her role as president for Refinery29 and Vice Studios and she is currently managing director at BBC factual. Her speech was followed by a Q&A with the head girl team and members of senior committee. She urged us all to take risks - and was a huge inspiration to us.
