Maths and literature - two worlds apart? Not according to our incredible alumna Sarah Hart, first female professor of Geometry at Gresham's College (a post previously held by Robert Hooke of Hooke's Law no less) and author of Once Upon a Prime. In her fascinating Colton Memorial lecture, she wove together poetry, patterns, and even Jurassic Park to reveal the hidden connections between numbers and storytelling. We’re so grateful for Sarah's wisdom and enthusiasm, as well as for her reminder that numbers tell stories too!
