City@6 on the Benin Bronzes

While fans of the Winter Olympics are focused on gold and silver, Monday 7 February's City@6 was all about bronze. Historian and award-winning journalist for BBC and Al Jazeera, Barnaby Phillips, delivered a topical talk on the Benin Bronzes. The talk focused on his second book – Loot: Britain and the Benin Bronzes -  and examined the recent debate over the justifications for keeping such significant historical African artefacts in the British Museum.
