Last week was the City Schools’ Chess Tournament in the wonderful setting of the Guildhall Livery Hall.
It was brilliant to have students from years 7 to 11 representing the school and they very much enjoyed the chess masterclass at the beginning of the day!

Year 12 mathematicians had a great trip to the maths in action conference last week. Topics covered included Fermat's last theorem and transforming mobius strips, how MRI scanners function & how numbers determine which musical notes sound good together.
