This summer, CLSG's reapplication for the British Council's International Award was accepted. The award is given to schools around the world that can demonstrate a commitment to embedding international awareness and understanding within their school community.
City's latest application – originally due in 2019-20 but extended thanks to Covid – reflected several international dimensions to our learning offering, including our international exchanges and trips; collaborative projects with schools around the globe; opportunities for staff to take sabbaticals abroad; and our PSCHE global perspectives programme, in which students explore global challenges like poverty, war and peace, and contrasting political systems.
Well done to all involved in this recognition of City's efforts to learn from our wider community, not just in London but around the world.
