The joint CLSG-CLS sixth form enrichment programme, City+, had its official launch at CLS this week, as students from both schools gathered to hear from the heads and staff about this brand new opportunity and how it will work. Each week, staff from both schools will deliver seminar-style sessions for a diverse selection of four-week long courses. All students will also come together for a series of compulsory talks and workshops related to the term's PSCHE topics – first up is a talk from activist Gina Martin next week.
The launch was abuzz with energy and excitement as students had the chance to speak to the staff running the courses to find out a bit more about them before signing up for their choices. This year's offering includes courses on climate change, science ethics, as well as public speaking, nutrition, and French Rock Music!
