City at Six The Musical

City at 6 Lucy Moss

The format this time was slightly different – in place of a talk, the time was given over to a question and answer session led by our drama scholars and avowed superfan, deputy head girl Stella, who made an "executive decision not to wear my Six the Musical t-shirt" on screen, but didn't miss her chance to offer herself up for any future casting!

She told us more about the event. "At only 24, Lucy is the co-writer and director of the hit musical Six which has taken the musical theatre world by storm with over 100 million streams on Spotify, a successful West End run, a UK tour, a Chicago transfer to Broadway as well as an Australian and New Zealand tour. Did I mention she is the youngest women to direct a show on Broadway? As a huge Six fan myself, it was absolute pleasure to gather some more insight into the creative process behind the show and Lucy’s own experience as a writer."

Next up, we will welcome Laura Bates, the founder of the Everyday Sexism Project on June 14, and as always, you can catch up on past City@6 recordings here.
