As you may well know, City+ is an enrichment programme for sixth form students in partnership with the boys' school. The programme aims to broadens pupils' skills through a supplementary course of lectures, workshops and seminars undertaken each week. During these sessions, pupils are able to select from 36 various topics, tailored and taught by a team of teachers from both schools.
This week's launch event was hosted at both schools, where Dr Josephine Perry and Martin Griffiths led fascinating talks on 'Setting yourself up for success' and 'Effective academic performance'. Additionally, during the lunch hour, whilst switching between venues, the groups took on the challenge of a City treasure hunt. We also welcomed students from our partner school, Highgate Hill. We look forward to many such academically enriching events in the coming year!
