All of the Mandarin-learning classes in year 9 had the opportunity to visit Chinatown and the British Museum. On this trip, we went on a guided tour to learn more about the culture and history of the area. Afterwards, we enjoyed authentic Chinese food and tea, sitting around a table and sharing dishes! We then made our way to the British Museum, where we saw multiple Southeast Asian exhibitions, including culturally significant objects such as bronze bells, jade carvings, and porcelain figures.
