Channel Swim training in Dover

Over the half term break, the Channel Swim training stepped up a gear in Dover. Our swimmers trained with professionals, under the watchful eye of their very reliable lifeguard, Bonnie the dog! Their training spot at Oldstairs Bay, Kingstown, was the very beach where Gertrude Ederle, the first woman to swim the Channel, landed in 1926. As they depart for the 'real thing' this weekend, we wish them the very best of luck! Watch this space...
