Catch of the day

Last Saturday, our City fishing team took part in the Thames Fishery Research Experiment. For many years, this experiment has provided data to highlight improvements in the Thames' health. The results show a clear link between a clean river and the diversity of species found it. It also highlights the connection between efficient pollution controls and better biodiversity, with an average of 7.5 different species being recorded in the Thames every year. Our City fishing team managed to catch an impressive four bass!
