This week, the Mission Committee held a bake sale to raise money for Morocco following the devastating earthquake they faced. We spent our weekends baking cupcakes, and our baking talents were vindicated when all cakes were sold within the short break time. We raised a total of £200 in just 20 minutes,all of which will all be donated to help aid in Morocco.
The bake sale will be followed by a session given by Ms Arif about the indigenous Amazigh community of Morocco, and how natural disasters can threaten the preservation of their culture, History, artefacts and language.
